i used to run as darksoulzero a long time ago on Gaia online but as i said it was a long time ago like 2007 and i was playing d&d in pen n paper. I did make a friend named Jackiskewl who she would play as a bounty hunter while my character was basically Zero from megaman zero, who used a dark chip (from the megaman battle network games) anf throughout the rp my health would get lower and lower from the dark chip but it made me increasingly stronger the more i used it. Jak and a few other players had to work together to subdue me and remove the chip letting me snap out of it. I was the "big bad" or at least who the forum picked to be the bad guy because i had darksoul in my name (and yes this was before the dark souls game.) sucked that everyone jumped my character but its cool how we all became friends after they freed me everyone acted like we were long lost friends, who just were fighting to save me. Though there was a small exploit that the setting creator made a huge mistake on and i could have exploited though i chose not too. The robot character's like mine could get a program installed called undershirt.exe or undrsrt for short. It let anyone who was at max hp survive any hit by going to 1hp. And by using the dark chips i tanked my permanent hp to 1 even if i was freed from the darkchip. I didn't find out til Jak pointed it out nearly a year later that i was technically invincible now that i didn't have the power of a dark chip if i bought the under shirt program. Because im at max hp at 1 hp so im always at max. When playing with the normal group or people from other groups who would hop in from time to time to play with us i would never use that strategy. But every now and then when an edge lord or troll or some cheat would show up if he gave people a hard time or tried to grief them the mods would ask me to join the fight, i could be invincible after all and i had made a point to gather all the dark chips so no one could ever use them again. So no one could technically have their max hp at 1 yes i wouldn't do much damage because i had weakened programming from the dark chips and my darksoul being removed but I couldn't die if i used undrsrt. So it would almost end in a stale mate all my combat powers stripped from me but i had max movement and agility so nothing could escape me i even had shoes that let me fly over any terrain so no movement penalty (i couldn't fly as there was no flying in the game but i would hover just above the ground nullifing ground traps hazards and terrain effects like lava caltrops oil ext

I got to 3:50 and 😮.

When I played druid my party and I were able to beat the final boss because I casted moon beam and the worlock just kept pushing him into the moonbeam for extra damage we didnt even have to leave the stairs at the entrance

If I were the DM, somewhere during this part I'd have ended the campaign and started a new one, where the adventurers have to bring down the villainous traders who have taken over Katapesh.

It would be very helpful if you'd reminded the names of our heroes before resuming the story! I tend to find myself lost :/

This isn't alt right, it dumbassery. Using ongoing real world events for tabletop is somehow both very stupid and very lazy. OP is just as much of a problem for signing onto this as the DM and the roof the table

I absolutely love moments like this. Giving the party chances to just stomp, rather than have it all be a struggle. Rewarding them for taking the time to care about average people.

Finally got to watch part 1 yesterday, already got part 2 today. This is a fascinating story. It sounds like everyone involved had a lot of fun playing this. Good find the gm already assured us in part 1 that his players are all good people in rl. 😅 I absolutely love the return to those long multi part stories. I love hearing anything besides horror stories, stuff that reminds us how amazing ttrpgs are as a hobby and why people love playing them. Even if their playsyle is so vastly different from my own as in this case. Thank you so much for reading this story for us!

I have played a few evil campaigns before. But this one takes the cake I tip my hat to you and your players have not only brought greed and evil and manipulation to art form, but you do it with style bravo bravo. And you giving me ideas and that’s never a good thing.

Gonna repeat like everyone else: party was in the wrong, DM sounds nice, especially since they were even prepared for TPK comeback. Hell of a lenient DM. But no one’s asking the real question: did cleric eat his character sheet?

With how fast this campaign moves, I'm not sure if I'm more impressed by the many and varied problems the DM creates for his players, or the horrific and clever ways the party tackles them.

1st. Also this group of people are... at this point legendary with their woven threads of horrors. Normally I'd say fighting a ancient blue dragon is a horrible fate but at this point in this campaign that might be the only thing that saves this world from these guys

I like PTU. If only the people who created it didn't stop updating it years ago, it would probably still be fairly popular. It's the only decent Pokémon game I've seen where you can create your own character and you're not totally useless without your Pokémon doing everything for you.

I'd like to request that you change the name of this video since it's misleading. The douchecanoe paladin hated monster races, not interracial romance. If the assassin had been an elf or a dwarf or something, he probably wouldn't have had a problem with it.
